The Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development Commission (SAP&DC), is a non-profit regional economic and community development organization serving Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon and Somerset Counties.  SAP&DC’s mission is to address human resource development, encourage the creation and retention of jobs, and to improve the quality of life for residents of the Alleghenies.

The Southern Alleghenies Business Resource Network of public sector providers is available to assist entrepreneurs, existing business or those considering locating a business to any of the region’s six counties. The network includes seventeen agencies committed to developing and enhancing the economy of the region through the provision of technical assistance to businesses or prospective businesses. 

PA PREP is a statewide network of partners (Partnerships for Regional Economic Performance) designed to work in concert to deliver vital economic development services across ten regions of the state.
